- As the guards started to shoot Bophir he flew further away, eventually coming up over the abbey where he came down upon seeing Valora. Fake and Zeltron started to head back to the Wizard of Wines, however on their way they encountered a couple of men that told them they should go see Strahd, so they decided to continue that way.
- Valora spoke with the abbot, learned that the abbot pitied Strahd and wanted to release him from his curse. The abbot had also made a humanoid monstrosity, parts of various humans stitched together, and told Valora he was hoping this would be able to be Strahd’s wife, and free him from the curse. He did ask Valora for a wedding dress, which Valora agreed to get for him.
- Valora then walked back out with the abbot before excusing herself and going back in, she believed she had seen something that matched madame Eva’s fortune telling, a golden sun hanging above a fireplace. Valora looked behind it and found a tome.
- Bophir spent this time speaking with the abbot and playing with the humanoid creatures.
- As Valora came out she was given permission to look around the abbey, which she gladly accepted. She met a woman, Ezmerelda d’Avenir, a student of Rudolph Van Richten. The woman was here to kill Strahd, knowing the abbot was preparing a wife for him. After some convincing, Ezmerelda agreed to go with the party.
- On their way to Strahd’s castle, Fake and Zeltron saw a carriage that opened for them, but they did not get in, instead continuing to the castle on foot. Upon arriving at Castle Ravenloft, our heroes were greeted by a brown skinned elf named Rahadin, who asked where the rest of them were. Although he suggested waiting for them, after some time Rahadin decided it wouldn’t be proper to keep Strahd waiting any longer and brought them in.
- Valora and Bophir, along with Ezmerelda, made their way to Vallaki, where they learned that Rictavio had left town. Valora managed to steal the wedding dress she had previously seen in the Vallakovich residence.
- Valora decided to stop by the church one more time to speak with Ireena, this time convincing Ireena to go with them to Krezk, as they did not believe this place to be safe for her. They then began their return to Krezk.
- Fake and Zeltron met Strahd, who was sitting down playing piano. In front of them was a wonderful assortment of food. As Strahd tried to make conversation with them, he was put off by Fake’s ignorance and lack of understanding. After a bit of time the lights went out and Strahd disappeared.
- On the way to Krezk, Valora and Bophir were attacked by werewolves, and Ezmerelda proved to be quite the capable fighter, helping the party kill the 2 werewolves.
- Fake and Zeltron began heading out but were attacked by a group of gargoyles, luckily the two managed to defeat the group, but not before taking some injuries.
