- Our heroes went to The Hand tavern where they split up. A few of them were speaking with Ranga, the aarakokra barkeep. After using some illusions to confuse the poor man and the rest of the tavern telling him he was going crazy he figured magic was at hand.
- After getting upset he tossed the heroes out, but Farren stayed, having not really interacted with the rest. Speaking with Ranga, he asked about Kella and asked for a promise of safety when they came later, which received.
- Kella and Farren met and agreed that Farren would join Kella with her taked of speaking with fire giants.
- Our heroes left and met with the fire giants, the two groups talked and the fire giants were displeased with the adamantine that was presented, learning that they wanted parts of a construct.
- The fire giants left and Skarr followed them over the next number of days.
