- Our heroes examined the room a bit further, searching for the conch. They managed to locate it under the gorgon mud and used their grappling hooks in order to get it out.
- Sarah carved some questions into the stalactite.
- Meanwhile, Sera went and investigated elsewhere and saw the giants arguing with the humans, using minor illusion Sera incited more of a fight between the two and then retreated back to the group.
- A giant called in by the entrance, asking if the Thane was alright as they had found one of their own dead. Sera used minor illusion to convince it that the thane was ok.
- Sarah stayed behind while the remainder of the group left, although Sera returned to Sarah. The two waited for answers on the stalactite.
- Outside, the heroes noticed a giant approaching on a Roc, it rushed into the caves where it spoke with Sera still pretending to be the thane. The giant informed her that the scouts to attack Loudwater had been found dead, and they were worried what would happen next. Sera told the giant to get all the giants and watch the cave entrance.
- Our heroes outside noticed all of the giants gathering by the cave entrances, setting up a perimeter.
- The heroes then noticed another group of giants approaching, however they realized these were the giants they were waiting for. They learned that the answer would appear on the new moon.
- Our heroes convinced the giants to try and go in and speak with the Thane, however the giants attacked when the group approached. Thanks to some help from our heroes they eventually went in and spoke to the fake Thane who had them bring in Giloave, who then spoke with Sera.
- Sera gave specific orders, which caused her friends to get attacked by the giants, they did however live, and after a few more days our heroes received their answers and managed to get out, making it look like the thane had fallen in the mud an overpass broke.
