- Our heroes rejoined as Glass cast Displel magic, seeing two coffins and the inscriptions our heroes determined that these were Strahd’s parents.
- Camus was hungry for revenge and continued searching for Strahd, triggering a trap and teleporting to an unknown location as a wight took his place. Our heroes quickly started battle as Strahd himself joined the group, this time Freya decided to grapple Strahd, who was unable to escape due to the sunlight from Zeltron’s sword.
- Keeping up with the grapple, our heroes managed to defeat Strahd as he was held in place.
- Our heroes continued to explore the castle as they came to a vampiric Fake, who couldn’t justify what Zeltron had sone and attacked him. The party was unsure who to back, as Zeltron had been becoming a more power hungry being, but some ended up aiding the fake dragon.
- Fake had a talk with the others as they managed to decide what would happen next. Camus and Fake would rule the lands together, giving people who wanted to leave permission to do so.
- Freya would return home, as Glass would explore his reason for existence.
- When our heroes returned to town rather than the cheers of joy they were expecting they noticed many bodies lying dead on the ground. Still, our heroes felt the sunlight on their skin for the first time since they arrived in Barovia, and knew that the land was now free.
