- Our heroes continued exploring, Skarr went on his own and explored another hallway. He triggered a trap which caused the various room entrances to be blocked by walls of stone and a large boulder came flying towards them. Skarr managed to rope trip his way up and hid there, however Antkeep was hit by the rolling boulder.
- Sera decided to use her detect magic to try and determine where the trap was, and figuring it out she triggered it again just to be certain. Farren had stayed in a room with a tunnel and was ambushed by ice spiders when the walls went up. L:uckily he made quick work of them with some fire magic.
- Our heroes explored the tunnels and fought some more spiders, they also found a woman who was webbed up named Noori. She had been scouting the temple for the Great Worm tribe.
- Our heroes took her with them as they went back to the room with the giant god statues and told Harshnag what happened.
- They decided to rest during the night. Sarah heard something moving underground and saw the cracks in the ground expanding, she and Harshnag then heard the sound of a creature crying out in pain from the south.
- The next day our heroes explored the room south of the statue room. They saw a remorhaz with it’s head bitten off.
- Our heroes also saw a giant axe leaning against a stone table.
- Heading towards it, our heroes were attacked by a Kingfissure Worm. It quickly attacked Skarr who tried to back off, but Skarr used the opportunity to get some good hits in on it. The worm then caused a fissure in the ground, causing most of the heroes to fall in. Luckily, Sarah had feather fall ready for just such an occasion. The worm ate our heroes as they were attacking it, and as it started to bleed it started to retreat but our heroes chased after it. Farren going into the tunnel first, as the worm swallowed him whole our heroes killed the worm and rescued Farren.
- Returning to the room with the statues, our heroes excitedly put the axe back in Thrym’s hands however nothing happened. After a bit more trial and error they had Harsnag take the axe and touch the ice rune. The portal changed and our heroes walked through, finding themselves in a new room.
