- After our heroes picked up Farren in Mirabar they started to make their way back to Bryn Shander to meet up with Antkeep. The group kept in contact with Antkeep up until the day they were supposed to arrive, when they stopped hearing from her.
- Our heroes arrived close to Bryn Shander but decided to pause for the night, hoping to ambush the giants in the dark.
- As they approached the giants they saw a group of 5 of them, 3 of them, including the jarl. Three of them were sleeping while the other two were keeping watch. Antkeep’s book was hanging off of the jarl’s bag.
- Farren started by banishing the two watchmen and our heroes ambushed the remainder.
- As the jarl was awoken he summoned some ice wolves and called out to another giant that had been slumbering beneath a pile of snow. Still, this was not enough to stop our heroes who made short work of them.
- Our heroes were ruined with Antkeep as she tried to sneak up on Farren. They learned that she had lost her book escaping from the giants, but had been causing enough trouble in town to keep them here. They also learned that she had informed Arveiaturace of the giants and as a result the dragon defeated a large number of the giants.
- Bedford decided to stay behind and help the folks resettle.
- Our heroes decided to return to the frost giant base, where they saw a couple of giants keeping watch. They quickly showed the giants proof of their victory over the jarl and coerced them into obeying them.
- The giants released Arvin to them, who was sad that his mommy and daddy had passed.
- The giants also brought our heroes to the temple of Thrym, where the dragons had been fought.
- Our heroes looked around and found some frozen treasure. Upon unfreezing it they alsofound a treasure map leading to the treasure of Captain Silbarr Snake-Eyes.
