- Our heroes retired for the night. The next day they got ready to meet up with Tarno.
- Antkeep’s familiar approached to let her know that she saw Tarno, and a few minutes later a guard came running up to the group, out of breath, to let them know they saw Tarno.
- Our heroes met Tarno in town but were able to tell there were people watching him. Causing some confusion in the crowds, with Farren turning Tarno into a slug.
- The group then ran out to a beach where they returned Tarno to his true self. He began to fight the heroes, increasing his size and growing scales Farren incapacitated him with his magic as the rest of the group beat on him, with Murph getting a killing blow and shying away when people were upset with him for killing him.
- Antkeep quickly revived him as he agreed to talk with our heroes a bit, informing them that they had king Hekaton but he should have been finally moved away to his final destination.
- After antagonizing Elana and asking her for a one on one fight, which she agreed to, Ivar killed Tarno, cutting off his head, worried that Elena would get injured.
- Elena lost her temper and yelled at the group, telling them off for taking her target, arguing that she was just playing with Tarno’s head and was just going to kill him.
- After some further arguing Farren cast Teleportation Circle, pushing Elena through as she gave the group the finger.
- The group then met back up with Befdor in Fireshear, where Skarr was overjoyed to finally purchase himself a griffon named Phantomquill.
- Our heroes then teleported using the conch of teleportation and ended up in a large underwater palace, they heard music and singing coming from above.
- Heading up some very large stairs, they saw a number of giants, including their acquaintance Skrim, listening to two storm giantesses playing an instrument/singing.
- They learned these two were princesses of the storm giants, and they showed immediate distrust due to the group being small folk.
- Our heroes managed to convince one of the guards to go and get Princess Serissa.
- The other two princesses began speaking with some of the other giants here, although Skrim didn’t participate in these conversations and instead spoke with our heroes.
- Our heroes listened in to the conversations and tried talking with the giants themselves, feeling like in the end they made a positive impression on the giants.
- The guard returned and told our heroes that he would take them to see Princess Serissa.
