- Our heroes continued the fight, confident that they were finished the spellcasters removed their concentration causing our heroes to revert back to their human form as a mage came out from below deck holding his head. He quickly disappeared and reappeared, warning Farren to give up or else his friends would drown.
- The mage was quickly attacked, forcing him to lose his concentration on a spell as our heroes took him out, causing a gem he had in his forehead to fall out.
- Our heroes also saw the ruins of a circle of teleportation in the ship, which Farren took note off.
- As our heroes finished off the last of the enemies, including the age-old slug trick, Skarr picked up the gem and immediately felt his head hurt, as he was contacted by someone named Lord Syuul. Skarr passed himself off as a member of the crew, and told Syuul he would get someone for him to speak to soon before covering the gem up.
- They found Rool to be a very friendly and informative person when being given the option of co-operating or death, unlike Reus. Reus wasn’t concerned about anything, unwilling to work with the group, and insulting Elena. Eventually the group had enough and knocked him back out, taking his weapons and magical cloak, giving it to Murph.
- They later on realized Reus was now dead. They still locked him and Captain Tholtz Daggerdark in a prison with the storm giants, but let Rool go as Skarr chose to employ him.
- Our heroes then spoke with the storm giants, and polymorphed two of them into slugs to teleport with them and keep them hidden as they had Murph attune to and used the Room of Meditation to teleport to the same circle Farren had noted on the boat.
- When the spell finished they had come to the Harper teleportation circle in Neverwinter. Alarmed as to what might be happening, our group quickly questioned the agent, some even being suspicious, until they realized the circle on the ground was not the one they had seen but Murph had teleported to the wrong place.
- The Harper agent used the markings shown by Farren and sent them to the correct circle this time, where our heroes found themselves underground.
- They saw a purple glowing light, and as they approached it they were attacked by brain creatures, some floating, and another on the body of some odd creature. They managed to dispatch the bodies fairly easily before moving down through an ooze in the floor. Antkeep was able to move down fairly easily through this but the rest of the group struggled.
- Coming down to the floor below they saw a torso and head of a troll as well as an unconscious goblin in a vat. Our heroes then were attacked by a large number of floating brains coming out of the walls, which they were able to defeat easily enough.
