- Bedford tried to find the remains from Little, however it was difficult to determine which pieces of ash were little and which were something else.
- Our heroes continued to their destination, the great worm cavern.
- Upon arrival they quickly got the attention of some of the tribesmen, which based upon their clothing were able to associate with the Uthgardt they had seen at the temple of the All Father.
- Our heroes managed to persuade them to allow them to go see the great worm, however the one question that they questioned was whether they were prepared to die.
- Our heroes went into the cavern and came to a shaft, Jurano sent his familiar down only to cause ice from the walls to come crashing down, killing the familiar.
- Skarr and Ivar then rushed down, where they saw giant corpses on the ground.Skarr approached the corpses as they came to life. The group fought the corpses as well as two incorporeal creatures that came in to join the fight. Our emerged victorious but Befdor was not happy about the situation.
- Entering the next room our heroes saw a number of creatures and relics of the past frozen in the ice, including one frozen creature whose eyes were moving. They were able to identify him as a wight.
- Jurano yet again sent his familiar in as it was frozen to death.
- Our heroes also noticed the ceiling was full of spears.
- Ivar, doing what he could to activate the trap, starting throwing the arms and legs of the giant corpses into the room, causing the ceiling to activate as the spears started crashing down into our heroes.
- Eventually they stopped and Ivar stepped forward, but was also frozen. Jurano tried a wall of force and our heroes tried going on top and below it.
- Eventually our heroes made it past the trap, but were blown back by a wind when crossing another path. They decided to free the wight after trying to communicate with it, deciding it didn’t seem evil, despite their original thoughts that he was the one causing the traps. They learned he was a friend named Galithor that wanted revenge on the dragon.
- Using Leomund’s tiny hut, our heroes managed to move past the final trap.
