- As Rath rushed through the cave he started letting a few of his companions out of the bag of holding. Fortunately only Antkeep was hit by acid.
- Our heroes slowly approached the water, eventually throwing something at the floating mushrooms which quickly turned out to be sentient creatures and attempted to attack our heroes.
- Our heroes flew over the black swamp as they engaged with combat. Shortly thereafter some swamp bogs came up and started slinging mud at our heroes as well.
- Skarr headed off to a room that was giving a bit of light, there he saw a misty creature and what seemed to be a celestial made up of stained glass, and at first convinced them that he was new recruits since the Hallowed Dark had been killed. They told him they would have the rot angels cease their attack to anyone who arrived in the room, so he telepathically informed his companions who started to make their way over.
- Skarr asked about a creature that was wrapped up in dark tentacles. He learned that it was a celestial, and upon its death would empower the mighty Qazyldrath. As such, he decided he had to stop this and shot an arrow at the tendrils. The two creatures in the room immediately began to attack Skarr.
- George cast Fog Cloud to try and blind the swamp bogs while Rath and Antkeep headed to the room to help Skarr.
- After our heroes took some pummeling, with Antkeep barely keeping Skarr and Rath alive, and staying alive herself due to some unusual ability.
- Antkeep lost concentration on her fly spell, causing George and his “mini Vonindod” to go crashing into the swamp as they started to take acid damage. George also attacked with his manifest mind, keeping the swamp bogs focused on his mini Vonindod and the mind.
- Our heroes continued to attack the glass celestial despite it continually healing itself, until it finally started to run, but thanks to the natural light it emitted they were able to shoot and kill it.
- Antkeep turned into a giant ape in order to live a little longer, as the group freed the celestial as well as finished off the mist creature. They then turned to the swamp bogs that George was keeping at bay, taking them out as well.
