Murph returned to the Astral Plane crying and lost.
He was picked up by the Chain of Acheron, a mercenary company piloting a squid ship called the Somnium Tenebris. They helped Murph and Hammy find their way home.
As the squid ship docked at Murph’s asteroid, Mr. Icky was happy to be visited by the ship of such a prestigious mindflayer; but greatly was his elation shattered, when a couple humans and a devil walked down a tentacle, followed by Murph.
The Chain gave Mr. Icky a stern talking to in the way he was treating his “employees” and suggested that supporting them would create more productivity.
Murph spent his next weeks, exaggeratingly describing his adventures in the new world and that there was even a thri-kreen in that plane. Using the Hat of Disguise, Murph played out all parts of epic sagas as his friends, and even his former bullies, were enthralled with his experience.
