As our heroes traveled, shots rang out—a warning for them to keep their distance. Rushing toward the source, they found a lone Kohlo muttering about “damn bandits.” A brief fight broke out, but after clearing up the misunderstanding, the attacker introduced herself as Jax and, by way of apology, offered to accompany the group to their destination.
Later, the group ventured into a hoodoo field, where one of the rocky formations sprang to life and attacked. It was no match for our heroes, who dispatched it with ease.
Their path led them to a ship, partially buried in the desert sands. There, they encountered a group of nykteras, who pleaded for their aid in dealing with the vexgits that were destroying their home.
Responding to the plea, the heroes approached the vexgits’ lair and swiftly defeated their guards, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
