Our travellers headed north, towards Reino. On their way, Evelyn decided to make a pit stop in Norende to pick up some supplies before they continued on their journey. While the rest of the group weren’t overly interested in going in, she went in and purchased some items.
Once they arrived in Reino, Scion did his best to keep a low profile. Our travellers went to the Tavern To The Winds looking for work. They learned that they would have to prove themselves by taking on a low risk, low paying request before being able to officially join and take other requests. While looking at the board, a big burly man with a bear skin came and took a very high paying job, to kill a dragon. Our travellers made some conversation with him, but he insisted he needed not help, nor did he think they could help him. He also did not want the company on the quest. He introduced himself as Rudolph of the Northern Mountains.
Our heroes introduced themselves one by one. He seemed to have a change of heart, as he asked if he could have a room with them. Once alone he immediately questioned Fang as to where he heard the name Ramatos. He accused Fang of lying, and not being of there. He called it a cursed, ancient, and lost land. Getting tired of Fang’s attitude, Rudolph grabbed him and pinned him to the wall with one hand. As Rudolph still wasn’t getting the answers he sought, and after encouragement from the rest of our travellers, he breathed cold on Fang, killing him. He looked at the rest of the party, and told them he would be bringing Fang back, and to meet him tomorrow as he would be introducing the group to the king.
The next day, our travellers met with Rudolph, and a very unhappy but revived Fang. They met with the king, who questioned them about Ramatos, but he still received no useful information.
