Our travelers were deciding what to do when they saw a group of guards and townsfolk coming their way. Fang tried to ray of frost to put out the fire but to no avail. Zuko used a message spell to warn one of them about approaching any further as he was a necromancer. This freaked the guard out a bit, but he regained his composure as our group argued about what to do. Once they started approaching again Zuko started to raise the dead, however Scott immediately killed the undead abomination that came to and warned Zuko to never do that again. The group then started to run for the first as Fang summoned elementals and brooms to slow their pursuers. They arrived first and did their best to hide themselves. The pursuers arrived and passed by our group without noticing them.
The next day our group returned to their ship. They found some of the crew waiting for them, to row them back to the ship. They then began their long voyage back to Reino. Zuko had enough of healing people, he wanted to cause trouble. He prayed to Lubaiko, asking for the power to hurt people rather than heal them. He was told to prove it by setting the ship they were aboard on fire before it had a chance to dock.
As they could see the shore approaching, Zuko used this opportunity to go below deck, as another ship passed them. He found a secluded area and lit a fire, before going back to the crowds above deck. After a short period, people noticed the fire and the crew immediately went to work putting it out. While investigating the case, suddenly a gargantuan 2 headed turtle like beast came from the waters and snapped the ship they had just passed in half. Everyone started panicking and rushing to the front of the ship wanting to get off as soon as it reached shore. Upon docking everyone rushed off. Our travelers went back and started looting what they could, before Zuko lit the gunpowder and escaped from the ship as it blew up.
Our travelers learned that the people had been escaping, leaving the lands, as over the past couple of weeks all manners of monstrous beasts had been attacking. They were talking with a merchant, when a tree came to life and attacked them. The merchant went to run away but our travelers convinced him to stay and they would protect him. They took out the tree before talking to the merchant again. They managed to convince him to travel with them, his only condition was keeping him safe for the next week. As they explored the town they found that the entire outsides of the town had been destroyed.
