Our heroes returned to Serenoa, who true to his word provided our group with horses and a wagon. He called a handsome blond man over, Roland, who offered to teach our heroes to ride if they liked and if it would please Lord Serenoa. Serenoa agreed, and with that all but Christmas learned how to ride horses.
The travelers got ready to leave town, and with that brought their new found merchant along with them. They encountered numerous large creatures on their journey to Reino, but they made sure to stay away from all of them. FInally, arriving at Reino, they saw the walls surrounding the kingdom were full of holes, and one end was even under attack by a gigantic ape.
Our travelers ignored the ape, and eventually saw it killed by the soldiers. They started heading towards the castle to see king Leos. On their way, Sion noticed the drug dealer he had previously purchased drugs from, and decided to follow him after it had nearly killed Christmas. Christmas decided to follow as well. While going through town they learned that all merchants were currently under order from the king to make weapons, armor, and other items for the soldiers.
Arriving at the castle, Fang decided to go in while Zuko waited outside. Fang went and spoke with the king, and saw that he was now missing an arm and an eye. He told the king what he had learned, about how Pleasant Manors has people who cooperate with Ramatos. The king then ordered his men to give Fang the gold, even though some indicated they may not have the funds to be able to afford this, Leos insisted they must stick to their end of the deal.
During this time, Zuko left with the merchant to the merchant’s guild. He told one of the guards to let Fang know, as well as a large orc and human if they happened to come by. Christmas and Sion followed the dealer, as soon as he was about to go in a door, they rushed him. Sion grappled him as Christmas put a blade to his neck. They then noticed the building he had gone into was full of people. Christmas quickly killed the dealer, as the rest started to attack Sion and Christmas in relation.
Taking a few hits, Christmas ran out leaving Sion behind. Sion felt a bit more confident, but was taking hit after hit and bleeding badly. He ran out but they followed him and took him out. They then looted his body, but by some twist of fake Sion came to after they had left. Christmas and Sion then went to the castle. They talked to a few guards along the way who indicated they had bigger problems than a few druggies.
Seeing the king, Sion asked about his arm. He learned the king lost it fighting these gigantic dangerous creatures. Christmas asked for his money, and Leos informed them that he had given it to Fang already. Christmas and Sion met up with Fang and Zuko at the merchant’s guild.
They went through town for a bit, when Christmas noticed they were being followed. They managed to catch the person in a pincer attack, and killed him upon learning he was after Christmas for having killed his friend. Some of the townsfolk who remained saw the death and called guards. Christmas and Sion managed to convince the guards about the fact they had been attacked, and that Sion had been robbed of 100 gold, a crowbar, and his demon mask.
The guards followed Sion as he took them to the druggies, and they took them in, giving Sion the gold on hand, which totalled about 80 gold, and he got his mask back. He did not however get his crowbar back.
