As time resumed a very confused Zesh and Seraphina reached out to Finn to find out a bit more about what happened. Finn helped clarify that the town had been attacked by frost giants, and that Tao and Kida had fallen. The three regrouped in Fireshear to discuss further. They decided to fly to Luskan, and would have Finn fly there with his own magic while being attached to their griffon rental. Finn objected to this quite a bit, as did Nyala, but in the end consented to it, wondering why he ever decided to follow this group in the first place.
Meanwhile, Mitsui made for the town of Luskan as quick as she could. Although exhausted, she made it there in less than a week. Once there, she approached the temple of Red Sails, hoping to find a priest who could revive her fallen friend. Unfortunately she was informed that at this time, they did not have anyone that could resurrect her fallen companion. Not willing to give up hope, she went to the temple of Tymora. Of course, as luck would have it, Mitsui was able to find a priest to revive both Tao and Kida. Relieved, she sent a message to Seraphina and Zesh informing them that the two were alive once more.
Upon arriving in Luskan Seraphina unleashed her frustrations, fears, and angers on Mitsui. Kida however reasoned with Seraphina, and helped her calm now, knowing that none of this was Mitsui’s fault. Afterwards, Mitsui and Finn had a sit down, where Mitsui attempted to explain her journey to Finn. Trying to understand her caused Finn to develop quite a headache. Thus time came to a standstill once more.
