Our heroes continued their journey through the vaults, guided by the mysterious ruby. As it led them south, they encountered a stone wall and chose to head west. They passed through doors into a room with an ominous light. When Asterion touched the light, it spread, stunning the party and triggering an alarm.
Several familiar foes entered, but Bags, the only one not stunned, rushed to engage them. With the Dreshkan shooting needles and the Mulventok barking commands, our heroes fought valiantly and emerged victorious.
Exploring further, they found loose coins and a grimy storage room. A rune on the floor intrigued them, and Dreg sent Dexter over it, hearing a voice urging them to leave. Suspecting a hidden secret, they searched and discovered a concealed door.
Through the passage, they encountered a room with a large, recognizable hand and Ysondkhelir, a man in multicolored robes. He mentioned releasing Dorianna, but Thumper and the others sensed treachery. As Ysondkhelir revealed a room filled with hands, our heroes initiated combat. Paralyzing Ysondkhelir on his first turn, they swiftly defeated him and freed Dorianna’s hand.
Puzzling over how to restore Dorianna’s hand, Dreg confidently asserted that it would return to normal, though the others remained skeptical. They found a strange pendant fragment on Ysondkhelir’s body and continued their exploration.
Entering a room with transparent pillars containing creatures, they were ambushed by a green flame woman. After a tough battle, they triumphed, pushing further into the vaults.
