- Our heroes investigated the Yester Hill Area a bit more. They started by tearing down the wooden statue, discovering a magical gem within, which they assumed to be one of the Wizard of Wines missing gems.
- They also found an evil looking tree which they identified as a Gulthias tree.
- Our heroes returned to the Wizards of the Wines to get some rest. They talked with the Martikov family, and convinced a few of them to go with them back to Yester Hill to destroy the Gulthias tree, which they believed to be the source of all the blights. Several of the members agreed, and after resting our heroes headed over to the Gulthias tree.
- Upon returning our heroes couldn’t agree as to what to do. Therefore Valora took off with Elvir to Krezk while the rest of the party stayed behind. On her way to Krezk Valora encountered a man on a horse heading to the Wizard of Wines.
- Arriving at Krezk the burgomaster wouldn’t let her in, thanks to some persuasion and help from Elvir Valora was eventually allowed in, she spent a bit of time in town before deciding to settle here for the night.
- Back at the Wizards of Wines, the man that had passed Valora arrived asking for our group. The man was Ernst, one of Lady Fiona’s employees. He had a letter for the party from Lord Vasili von Holtz, whom the party knew to be Strahd. The letter was an invitation to dinner, and the heroes were promised safe passage there.
- Our heroes decided to join Valora in Krezk, however on their way they were attacked by wolves. Aduial used his impersonation skills to mimic Strahd’s voice, ordering them away, as our heroes continued on to Krezk.
- Valora made her way to the abbey, where he was greeted by some odd looking humanoids, who seemed to be part human but the rest of them was made up of various animals. None the less he was able to speak with the abbot.
- As the rest of our heroes arrived at Krezk, they were not allowed in. Bophir began flying up but the guards got ready to shoot him.
