- The two groups continued on their own way. Valora and Bophir returned to Krezk, they headed to the pool of water where Ireena her someone calling from within the waters. As she approached she uttered the name Sergei, which Valora recognized as Strahd’s brother. A man appeared in the pool and a hand reached out and when Ireena took it she was pulled into the pool where she and the man disappeared.
- The pool was then struck by lightning as the water evaporated, a booming voice came from the thunder claiming Ireena.
- The party in castle Ravenloft, Aduial, Fake, and Zeltron continued towards the exit. As they reached the doorway they were quickly attacked by a group of red dragon wyrmlings. Our heroes ran and fortunately the dragons did not follow.
- They continued exploring the castle, going up as high as they could, where they encountered a group of rats which they fought off.
- Advancing to the next room they found a table with food and a very nice cake on it. They also found a magical lute and a harp. When Aduial played the harp a ghost named Pidlwick appeared and remarked on his skills, telling him of his death and how in his crypt a treasure awaited them.
- Our heroes left the room through a window, before managing to start their climb down. Fake first noticed a girl in a nearby room and made polite conversation with her.
- Back in Krezk, the townsfolk were angered by the group causing the destruction of the sacred pool. The group turned invisible and ran.
- Valora gave the Abbot the dress and then proceeded to do her best to summon Strahd. Although it took a few hours, Strahd did arrive and his focus was entirely on Valora. Valora ran into the Abbot for help but he did not assist her in the least. Strahd killed Valora and then left, ignoring Ezmerelda and Bophir spend the majority of the time just waiting.
- True to his word, the Abbot revived Valora. Valora decided to rest for the rest of the day as she wasn’t feeling well. Bophir continued to explore and managed to find a hospital wing, when he went in he was attacked by a group of shadows. He barely made it away with his life, the next day after resting he decided to go back in and get his revenge.
- The party from castle Ravenloft rested in Valaki before heading back out the next day.
- The two groups met back up at the Raven River Crossroads, where they found the werewolves tracks heading north and decided to follow them.
