- Our heroes returned to Vallaki where they met back up with Valora. Valora had decided against meeting back up with Strahd. The group then discussed what had been going over the past few days and their next steps. They decided to head to the Argynvostholt manor.
- Coming up to the manor they saw a silver dragon statue outside, our heroes proceeded inside and began exploring. They saw a shadow of a dragon move by and disappear.
- Zeltron found a room with a flame creature that popped out of the fireplace. Bophir proceeded to quickly blow it up with an ice knife spell, causing it to explore and light the room on fire.
- Aduial found an elf, Savid, who had ran away here a few days ago while searching for Arabelle. He was attacked by some twig blights and was scare to leave.
- Valora found some odd creatures in a room not far off, as she went to warn her friends they started to head in that direction as well after having heard the explosion.
- The 3 creatures began attacking our heroes, especially Ezmeralda, as Glass made sure to keep her and the rest of the party healed up, they managed to take care of the creatures.
- Bophir started going up to the second floor while the rest of the group explored the room the creatures had come from.
- Going back they heard a sound coming from outside, where they saw a man relieving himself on the dragon statue. He had come with a gift for the group, a coffin inscribed with the name Valora. Upon opening it bats flew out before turning into a bouquet of roses.
- As our heroes started going up to the second floor Bophir triggered a trap, causing a wall to appear, but he teleported away.
- Our heroes then found Fake’s severed head under a cloth. As they recovered it and uncovered it again, it took the shape of Zophir’s head, as well as Zorrion’s, and eventually even Van Ricten’s head.
- Our heroes continued up, where they came across a pale, gaunt, man sitting on a throne. Speaking to him they learned his name was Vladimir Horngaard. He refused to help our heroes defeat Strahd, as he wanted Strahd to remain here forever and suffer eternal punishment.
- Our heroes continued on and found another group of similar looking men, who didn’t attack but told our heroes they wouldn’t move without Vladimir’s orders. Our heroes tried to speak with them again but to no avail.
- Our heroes explored a bit more, with Valora and Aduial exploring the roof and tower on their own. They came across the following message: When the dragon dreams its dream, Within its rightful tomb, The light of Argynvost will beam, And rid this land of gloom.
- Our heroes gathered back outside as they set a part of the building on fire.
