- Our Heroes arrived in Shiver City and got off the ship.
- They find the store, inn, hospital, etc. all within a single building.
- They learned of a blizzard that would be hitting, and so decided to spend the night.
- A pregnant woman was brought in to give birth, our heroes eventually heard baby cries and assumed the baby was born.
- They learned local rumors of the demon of the mountain, that hunters go out regularly, try and avoid the dragon.
- In the middle of the night they heard a loud female scream.
- Our heroes, along with the hunters, went to investigate the scream, following tracks which lead to the mayor’s home, quite close to our heroes’ rooms
- They found the mayor dead, but found no tracks or evidence anyone had entered the room. Blunt force trama was determined to be the cause of death.
- The hunters were suspicious of our heroes, half stayed in the mayor’s house with X, the others, along with the mayor’s daughter, returned to the inn.
- Lina’s window was open when she came to her room.
- Fang used detect magic upon sticking his head out the window and detected magic.
- Fang and some of the hunters went outside to investigate, Fang always found a single source of magic, but could barely see an inch in front of him due to the blizzard.
- Hunters went back in, Fang about to follow, but was charmed by an old woman, and told to distract people from the hospital area.
- Fang cast fireball on Scalez and Lina, causing a fight, and while Scalez and Lina won, they chose not kill Fang, only tying him up.
- Due to the sound of fighting people came, as Fang yelled and made more of a distraction.
- Lina pushed her way through the crowds upon having noticed something odd, only to see an old woman leaving the hospital area. The woman, surprised, dropped a vial of blood.
- X came back, using what he learned, he identified the old woman as a type of hag, most likely a winter hag.
- The baby had a gash across its face and over one eye.
- Our heroes were offered a 200 gold reward for killing the hag.
- Along with one brave hunter, they started heading south on the island.
