- Pressing on, the abnormal temperatures became a very large hassle for our heroes, eventually, instead of just extreme temperatures the temperature was completely random, with boiling water one second and ice the next. Persisting through this for a few minutes our heroes reached an area of calm water, where they felt neither warmth nor cold, testing the temperature of the water it felt as though it matched their body temperature perfectly.
- While healing up from the environmental damage, our heroes were attacked by a large blue protean known as an Imentesh. It immediately targeted Corvus, although when Fang and Chaos tried talking to the creature it listened and responded, although only one person could understand it at a time. The creature seemed very single minded, its entire focus on recovering Corvus. They revived Corvus, who chose to go with it to their master, and in exchange the creature allowed Chaos and Fang to return to shore, the trip back was very quick, almost as if the distance itself had compressed for our heroes.
- Deciding to go speak with Rudolph, our heroes headed back towards Sparnuotieji, and to their surprise, they encountered Corvus in the tunnel on their way there. They initially walked past him but Corvus caught up to them, when eventually questioned he told them he managed to escape thanks to his knowledge of the town and their overconfidence.
- Reaching Rudolph he seemed to be doing much better than before. Our heroes talked with him and decided to go visit his father. They question Razorclaw more about the ancient heroes and the war, learning that some of the proteans had indeed been taken over by the leader of the opposing side of the war. He and the other heroes decided that one of them should stay in the world and watch over it, while the others would unite with the points of power. As is, Razorclaw thinks if these ropes remain he would not survive for more than another 2 or 3 years.
- Our heroes along with Rudolph decide to head back to Reino, so they head back to Shiver City and board a ship back to Descaraba.
