Our intrepid adventurers arrived at the infamous Bottleneck Bridge, a narrow passageway passing over the Ustradi river. Our heroes descended to the boats with the fisherman below. As they descended, they noticed ominous black powder scattered about. Recognizing the telltale signs of the notorious Powderkeg Punks, our heroes braced themselves for battle.
The Powderkeg Punks, armed with bombs and guns, launched their attack. Despite the explosive onslaught, our heroes proved their mettle, swiftly dispatching the punks. Just as the dust settled, Gattlebee, ever the opportunist, snatched some papers from a fallen punk and bolted as reinforcements approached.
Scarlet, Koros, and Boe’Tan gave chase, while Rahvin stayed behind to loot the corpses. The pursuit led them through a series of obstacles. First, they encountered the foot traffic by the bridge. The heroes pushed through the bustling crowds, leaping onto awnings to gain an advantage. Rahvin, meanwhile, cleverly blended in with the punks, creating a diversion. Next, they navigated the busy marketplace with ease, pushing and running their way through. Rahvin sowed confusion among the punks by issuing misleading orders.
The group seamlessly blended into a festival celebrating the goddess Birgh, using the festivities as cover to continue their pursuit. They then faced a massive sinkhole that had swallowed a carriage earlier, creating a hazardous obstacle. Our heroes used ropes to traverse the gap, showcasing their agility and teamwork. As they approached a showdown between two gunslingers, they faced a barrage of bullets but used barrels for cover, dodging and weaving to avoid the shots.
Their final obstacle was a burning building. Koros assisted the firefighters, Boe’Tan used his fire kineticism to quell the flames, and Scarlet commanded the fire to stop, prompting a fire scamp to emerge and apologize. Having finally shaken off the Powderkeg Punks, the group arrived at the Yeast of All Brewery. Rahvin caught up shortly after, and Gattlebee took a moment to embrace a waiting dwarven woman before turning to his escorts with a keyring in hand.
Inside, they were greeted by a pair of clockwork brewers. Despite their hostility, both attacking our heroes and attempting to force alcohol onto Scarlet, the brewers were oddly polite, thanking the heroes and offering more drinks. In the end, our heroes managed to put the mechanical menaces out of commission. With the Powderkeg Punks thwarted and the clockwork brewers neutralized, our heroes stood victorious, ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
