Determined to proceed with caution, they meticulously searched for traps, eventually discovering a secret door that led to a lab teeming with hostile constructs. The constructs were no match for our heroes, who dismantled them with ease.
As they ventured further, the group entered a room and closed the door to investigate, only to find themselves locked inside. After unlocking the door, they encountered malevolent spirits and a mysterious portal. The spirits launched an assault on Rahvin, with one even briefly taking his form. Another creature emerged, prompting Koros to give chase.
Following a fierce battle that vanquished the spirits, Rahvin pressed on and encountered Shoma, who engaged him with a formidable clockwork creation. Koros rejoined the fray, and together, the group overcame the menace.
Shoma, realizing defeat was imminent, surrendered and confessed to hiring the Powderkeg Punks to kidnap Gattlebee out of jealousy. He revealed that Gattlebee had used his research to create pyronite and warned that the recipe for pyronite had been leaked, though its whereabouts remained unknown.
Triumphant, our heroes returned to the Barrel and Bullet Saloon to relay this crucial information to Phoebe.
