Following their recent ordeal, our heroes took a few moments to rest and heal as the mana storm intensified around them. Out of the chaos emerged a strange chimera-manticore hybrid, which immediately started to attack the ship.
As they engaged the creature in combat, it unleashed a powerful lightning breath before flying away to evade their attacks. Determined to stop it, our heroes chased the beast, catching up to it at different times. While the creature focused on breaking the ship, our heroes concentrated their efforts on bringing it down.
As the battle reached its climax, the creature delivered one final lightning breath before succumbing to their attacks. With the beast in its current shape, our heroes had no choice but to crash-land the ship.
Time was of the essence, so our heroes decided to continue the rest of their journey on foot. Making their way through the desert on an uncharted cycle, they found solace in escaping the mana storm. During their trek, they encountered an alien-like creature that called itself “I.” After a tense interaction, they managed to convince the creature that they were “friends, not food.”
A brief trade ensued, and the creature gifted them a fancy hat. Rahvin, in turn, offered the creature a gun and taught it how to shoot—an unfortunate lesson that resulted in one of our heroes getting accidentally shot, nearly leading to a skirmish.
After a bit more conversation, our heroes continued their journey, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
