The head priest held the artifact high, commanding his followers to protect it at all costs, and chaos erupted. Eeyore fixated on his target, making several attempts to destroy the orb. With Isaac’s assistance, he finally seized it and made a hasty retreat.
Meanwhile, the entangled priests, trapped in vines, were eliminated one by one. Just as victory seemed assured, disaster struck—the orb exploded in Eeyore’s grasp, unleashing a heatwave that sparked fires across the city. Scrambling to contain the flames, the heroes worked to put them out, yet the oppressive heat refused to dissipate. As they watched fires rekindle, they learned of a nearby dwarven shrine, rumored to house a decanter of endless water—perhaps the key to quelling the destruction.
Further investigation revealed another unsettling piece of information: a similar orb had recently been spotted in Yartar, soon to be auctioned.
Determined to secure the decanter first, the group followed the given directions, eventually arriving at the shrine. However, dwarven sentries barred their path, refusing entry. Thinking quickly, Isaac claimed to be a messenger of Olhydra, drawing the attention of an oni lurking within the shrine. After tense negotiation, the creature agreed to grant him the decanter, but only under one chilling condition—he must promise to drown people with it.
With the artifact in hand, the group returned to Beliard, only to face a new dilemma: Isaac refused to relinquish the decanter, opting instead to use its powers to aid the people while still keeping it in his possession.
Their journey continued toward Yartar, and during their travels, Isaac took an opportunity to fulfill his dark bargain—seeking out bandits to drown, with Yurian assisting in the grim task.
Arriving in Yartar, the group split up to pursue their various objectives, their paths diverging as the next stage of their adventure loomed ahead.
