- The ogres passed and our heroes continued on to Luskan. They saw a giant smoking ship as they approached. Worried about what would might have caused it our heroes approached the town cautiously, only to learn that frost giants had tried attacking but were shut down by a group of wizards from the Arcane Brotherhood.
- The group also asked about passage, the person they were speaking with Scion, brought them to The Cutlass, a local tavern. The group managed to talk a man named Buskar, and with a bit of bribing were promised they would be introduced to a captain the next morning.
- As thanks for this information, Skarr offered to take the person, Scion out to a for a drink. Skarr happily accepted but as the two were drinking Scion took the opportunity to steal from Skarr before heading out.
- At the tavern
- Skarr, upon realizing some of his items were missing, figured he had been robbed. He went looking for Scion, and found him at a store about to sell his stuff, but he then dashed off, drinking Skarr’s potion of gaseous form, causing Skarr to lose him.
- Our heroes decided to try and go to the wizard tower but were unable to get in. They decided to call it a night, except for Skarr and Sera who decided instead to work at finding Scion again. They went to the store and Skarr took on an appearance similar to Scion’s, trying to pass himself off. The Shopkeep was very confused at first but brought Skarr to a ship with a couple of captains. Skarr snuck onboard and stole some treasure and overheard a rumor about some mercenary base by Neverwinter having been demolished by giants, they were thinking of going and looting it.
- When Skarr returned he shared the information with his party, Elana immediately freaked out upon learning of the destruction of the base. Together with Sirac the group ended up deciding to take a ship to Neverwinter.
- Upon landing the party immediately headed to the Crimson Talon base where they saw it was overrun by hill giants cooking and seemingly raising pigs. Our heroes began an assault, although Elena was very concerned and kept suggesting our heroes retreat and ask for aid.
