- As our heroes received a bit of a rest and were ready to get on their way they saw what at a bird which quickly grew in size as it flew down from the skies towards our heroes forces. Thanks to some sticky spider webs our heroes managed to injure the bird, known as a roc, before it decided to fly away, only to be finished off due to our heroes great range.
- Our heroes had a bit of internal conflict, as Befdor, the newest member of our merry band felt bad due to the party’s approach to killing things. The group agreed to try his more peaceful methods and see what would happen.
- Continuing on our heroes encountered another group of stone giants. Following Befdor’s recommendations they tried to sneak up to them in order to speak with them. Only Antkeep was able to successfully sneak up however, but they ended up having a conversation with Giloave about the stone giants.
- Giloave had been the right hand of Thane Kayalithica, but he noticed her getting more hateful towards the little folk. This was happening as Thane Kayalithica was trying to elevate the stone giant’s status now that the ordening had been broken and she had begun communing with their god, Skoraeus Stonebones.
- Our heroes also learned that Thane Kayalithica had a conch of teleportation which allowed her to teleport to the Storm Giant palace.
- Our heroes planned to go to the stone giant hideout, located in the Graypeak Mountains.
- Our heroes then went back to town, teleporting to Yartar thanks to the Harper’s teleportation circle network.
- Thanks to the rod of the Vonindod our heroes found the giant slayer greatsword and Ivar managed to convince the captain of the guard that had it on him that Ivar’s pendent was magical and traded for it.
- Sera and Befdor then went shopping and managed to find a magic shop, and after falling to the trap, were able to purchase some items, but had no interest in the potions of healing.
