- Our heroes interrogated a couple of the orcs they had left alive, and although they learned that the path to the orc base was to the west, they instead took the north path as they also saw tracks leading that way.
- Arriving at a cave they heard some wailing, and upon stepping in a sobbing orc attacked Ivar and seemed to be very angry at him. The group knocked him out before exploring more of the cave. They encountered a couple of goblin dogs, and Skarr was ambushed by a black pudding. They eventually came face to face with a goblin with a bandaged head who seemed to be in control of some of the goblin dogs. Although aggressive at first, upon mentioning the name Vark he seemed to calm down and was willing to work with the group. They learned that the goblins here had been taken captive by the orcs.
- The group then approached the orc base, Skarr was levitated up pulled one of the watchmen down as the combat began. Skarr noticed one of the orcs turned invisible.
