- As Sarah approached the corpse in the center of the room, the ghost of a giant appeared. Taking a look at the corpse and the ghost Little was able to tell that the ghost belonged to the corpse.
- The Ghost introduced itself as Eigeron, a giant who had been killed here by his father. He explained to our heroes that they would have 6 questions they could ask the oracle, and the questions would renew at dawn.
- Sarah started by questioning the oracle about Eigeron, learning that his father, Blagothkus, was around Parnast and that he needed to be killed to put Eigeron’s spirit to rest.
- The group asked about what happened to Hekaton, and were told that the events were uncertain, as even divination couldn’t see what happened.
- Sarah went back to the body to start removing the armor while the group started to argue about the next question. Sarah asked if Befdor could calm down to which the oracle answered that he could.
- Our heroes learned that the King’s youngest daughter was looking for aid as she believed she had something that could help locate her father.
- As our heroes were finishing up their questions, the head of a red dragon popped into the room, asking where his little friend was, to which Sarah answered here. When questioning why she looked different, she said it was the armor and convinced the dragon, although he was still wondering why there was a giant with her.
- Harshnag and the dragon began to fight, as Harshnag warned our heroes to run.
- Our heroes took the opportunity to run, after having gone through the portal, they saw Harshnag’s body fly out of the portal and hit the statue of Annam, Sarah and Sera were both concerned with Harsnag’s body, and Sarah cast shatter to cause the floor to crumble more and have Harsnag’s body fall.
- As the dragon appeared he questioned Sarah about what happened to the body, however when she told him the floor just crumbled he realized she had been lying to him and burnt her to death with his fire breath.
- Sera rushed over and pleaded with the dragon, promising to answer its question, while secretly getting Sarah’s bag of holding. Sera then subtly cast dimension door to escape.
- The rest of our heroes made it out as the temple started to crumble and the dragon rampaged.
- Ivar was distraught about losing Sarah, and Sera went down to speak with him. As the two of them were speaking they noticed Sera’s book had the symbol of the Raven Queen on it, turning to the page in the book with Sarah’s name it was glowing. Sarah was able to speak with her companions one last time from beyond the grave.
- Our heroes also met Murph, an oozemorph who could communicate with Sera in her native tongue, who had no clue how he got to where he was.
- The heroes headed to Bryn Shander where they readied themselves to go find the Frost Giants.
