- Our heroes spent a bit more time in the city, and thanks to Antkeeps new truesight, she was able to determine that the dwarven king was actually a doppelganger. Still, our heroes decided to follow through with the request.
- Our heroes headed to Iron Forge, home of the fire giants. On their way, decided to contact their old fire giant friend. They learned that he had abandoned the duke and no longer lived in Iron Slag.
- Antkeep decided to scry on the giant, finding him in a mirrored room with other fire giants, when a familiar blue dragon showed up.
- Our heroes continued on to Iron Slag, where they saw a large door at the base of the mountain and a village of minotaur-like folk with some fire giants at the top of the mountain.
- Our heroes investigated the door, seeing fire giants going in and out. They decided to turn invisible and sneak in with one.
- Once inside they saw a large statue made of adamantine, which they assumed to be Vonindod.
- Skarr then let some arrows fly, targeting the duke, as our heroes quickly took him out. They took care of a second giant but the third called upon Vonindod as it began attacking our heroes. Luckily, it didn’t seem to be fully ready and our heroes managed to destroy the statue.
