- As victory was approaching, our heroes wondered about the motherload, when suddenly an even larger 20 sided die appeared.
- It quickly started by engulfing Jurano, Hark, and Harlequin. It then started beating on Ivar, causing him to grow in size as well as become confused.
- Hark commanded the creature to drop them all which it proceeded to do. His mind seemed warped as he attacked it relentlessly, seemingly unable to stop.
- Ivar was unable to snap out of the confusion as the creature was just too powerful. Our heroes lost their mighty warrior, but thanks to Jurano’s spells they were able to keep the 20 sided ooze unable to attack.
- Despite the ooze gaining resistance to all of our heroes’ attacks, they still took it down as they felt the ground rumble shortly after.
- The acid lake started to rise, our heroes did their best to cultivate the ooze and run out, with Jurano casting fly on a few members and Harlequin picking up Hark in his big hand.
- Our heroes escaped and talked about what to do next, they waited to see if the acid went down and after confirming it did explore a bit. They saw some small 4 sided oozes before deciding to leave for Nightstone to find the remaining part of the recipe for the amazing sandwich.
- In Nightstone they learned that there had been a recipe but it was lost during the giant attack. Talking with the goblins they heard that such a recipe may have been found and brought to the dripping caves, Hark was not excited to go.
- Once our heroes reached the dripping caves they managed to speak with the other Hark, who did get the recipe for them. The second ingredient for the sandwich was Suneater Owlbear, which Harlequin remembered as being a fey creature. He also remembered that there was a passageway to the fey wilds not too far from silverymoon, by a large mansion.
- Our heroes returned to the ooze cave where they went in and finished off the small oozes. Hark sent for some of his goblins so they could help keep the place cleared out.
