- As our heroes were approaching Bryn Shander Skarr wanted to have a duel with Zephyros, and Sera joined in on this. Sera started off by turning the two of them invisible, but Zephyros did the same. The combat ended quickly, especially when our party realized that Zephyros had used a better version of Sera’s spell, and he knocked the two of them out.
- Arriving in Bryn Shander, our heroes went shopping first, making sure to buy themselves some more appropriate clothing for the weather. They then split up a bit, with Sera trying to do some blacksmith work, and Sarah doing her own thing. The rest of the party managed to find sheriff Markham Southwell.
- Southwell was distraught to have learned about his sister’s death, but upon learning that it was due to giants asked our heroes for help. He had learned that some adventurers had seen frost giants moving through the sea of moving ice, and were heading in this general direction. He asked our heroes to go and investigate.
- Our heroes left with dog sleds, and encountered a young remorhaz, a large, insect-like creature that spewed fire, that attacked them from underground. Luckily they heard it coming and were ready for it.
- They then setup camp and waited for the frost giants. They were able to tell that the giants were looking for someone named Artus Cimber.
- Our heroes rushed to town to find anything on Artus Cimber but found nothing. The group prepared for the upcoming onslaught by the frost giants.
