- Our heroes returned back to the Maelstrom, where they were surprised when they saw a familiar face, Harshnag. Harshnag let them know there was one more person here for them. As they went to meet up with king Hekaton they saw little Sarah was there as well.
- The group reunited with her and learned that she had been resurrected thanks to the same wish spell that brought Befdor and Jurano back.
- Hekaton used this opportunity to speak with the scion, and thanks to it having returned, a petition would be made to the all father in order to restore the ordening, one which they believed would succeed.
- Our heroes talked and planned out there next thing. They tried to decide whether they really needed to go and face Klauth or not.
- Ivar spoke with Klauth, who begged for his life. This shocked Ivar and caused him to reconsider his planned actions.
- Ivar spoke with his parents about it. In the end, he and the rest of the group decided they had to. The exception was Befdor, who felt that since LIttle had been brought back, his vendetta against Klauth was no more. In addition, having died once, he didn’t want to risk it again, and decided to return to his wife.
- Our heroes rested up and headed over to fight Klauth. As they approached his home, they saw a familiar face, Elena. She had seen a dragon and, feeling uncomfortable with it being so close to her home, decided to head over to investigate.
- She led our heroes into Klauth’s lair, as they split a flowing magma fall and went in. Elena led the way, and she found a shortcut which lead our heroes to a trapped room. The ground was black and full of bones and absorbing the life out of our heroes as 4 spiritual enemies engaged our heroes in combat.
- Our heroes then took a short rest before heading back onto the main path, coming up to Klauth. They engaged him in a short conversation before determining he had been lying, and just trying to bide his time.
- Our heroes engaged Klauth, with Antkeep turning into a gold dragon herself. Klauth started out with a deadly fire blast while our heroes were using their best spells and attacks on him.
- Elena eventually turned into a gold dragon as well, as Klauth unleashed a burst of light, permanently blinding both Skarr and Jurano.
- Our heroes managed to defeat Klauth, with his body falling into the lava below him.
- Our heroes spend time to rest up and heal the blind, they had successfully saved the world and destroyed the final threat they had been facing these last few years.
