As our heroes resumed our journey then continued on to Brin Shander. Zesh was happy to be able to obtain some new armor there. Seraphina also ran into her stap dad and siblings here. They were selling their scrimshaw items here. Zesh bought some, and Seraphina’s step father tried to sell her some more. For lunch, Seraphina brought her friends and family to the Northlook. She sat them by a stuffed fish on the wall named Ol’Bitey. As they were eating the fish started signing, seemingly at random. Everyone was very excited to witness this unusual event.
After spending a day in town, our heroes stocked up and left to resume their journey and look for the frost giants. After a number of days, they came to a dwarven settlement. While not allowed in, they did gather a bit of information. They learned that the closest town was Hundelstone. However upon further questioning they learned that Fireshear would be the most likely location to find griffons. Our heroes decided to head to Fireshear.
When there they quickly met Dasharra, a griffon rider, tamer, breeder, and teacher. She was willing to rent out her griffons as needed. Seraphina, already having been trained to ride griffons, took one and, along with Zesh, went looking for the frost giants. When they didn’t see anything they returned. They decided that they would go and look further out, but this would take a number of days. The rest of the party would learn how to ride griffons, which would take a few days.
On the second day of training, our heroes heard a loud crash. As they looked to the south they saw a large frost giant ship, and a number of giants who had disembarked and were heading for the town. Thus the world came to a stand still.
